Sound Bath with Scarlet
A sound bath is a meditative experience where you are “bathed” in sound waves. It is an opportunity to unplug from external stimuli, and an invitation to deeply relax, restore, and heal your mind, body, and soul. No prior experience necessary, all you need to do is listen.
Hunterdon County resident, Scarlet Gorton is a sound practitioner with nearly 10 years of experience. The sounds coming from the Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, ocean drums and other instruments as she plays produce vibrations with unique sonic properties. These instruments help release tension and energy blockages allowing a deep sense of peace to emerge. A session is like experiencing a deep message only it is done with vibrations alone. Scarlet has a studio in her home for group and private sessions.

Flame Sculpture:
Fun Town Studios
Hot Pursuit is an interactive sculpture with flame effect. It creatively depicts a ball of bait fish (Menhaden) and their Striped Bass predators. The sculpture uses fire to elicit a primal reaction in viewers, like the explosion of a bait ball in sudden reaction to the presence of striped bass. The piece is designed for audience participation. A button control panel invites audience members of all ages to activate the flame effect, which “poofs” with a sudden, satisfying, and safe flash of flame with whooshing sound.
